Music for the people still fighting. Stories for the people still becoming. A life built around one question: what if the answer we are waiting for is already within us?
I make music because it is my passion, my creative expression, and one of the ways I make meaning of life. I want people to leave the music empowered — believing they have more of the answer than they think.
Success is not simply numbers. Success is somebody hearing a song and finding enough strength to keep going.
Read the storyThe Gaffa means the last ones — the final bus, the last hope. It represents the people who are not going to give up so easily. They aspire to inspire.
The album asks listeners to look inside, then look around. The answers we are searching for are not always held by the people in control. Sometimes the work begins with us.
I want the listener to feel stronger when the song ends than when it began.
The answer is not always outside of us. The Gaffa is an invitation to recognize your own power.
The journey is difficult. The goal is to help somebody continue anyway.
War forced a child to run. America became a fresh beginning. Music became expression. Faith became grounding. Organizing became a way to make change real.
